kastanien [chestnuts]

had a golden late summer day with the family today, collected a bunch of chestnuts. beautiful stuff.
i'm finding that submitting a song for WB is like a calligraphy to me: I stare at the empty canvas and then move quickly, without trying to cover up any so-called mistakes. To quote wikipedia, "To write Zen calligraphy with mastery, one must clear one's mind and let the letters flow out of themselves, not practice and make a tremendous effort."
This week's submission is my 1926 guitar plus Alchemy for bass wobble and Sculpt for fake electric guitar. I find that the recording of the acoustic guitar is difficult without a mic stand, I capture too much room, and then it takes up too much room in the mix so I can't easily put another guitar track on top. At home, I would have used another stringed instrument (you know what I'm talking about) but here, synthetics must do.
Peace y'all.

I, too, miss the lute, but your guitar technique makes it sound rather lute-like. Excellent in toto!

This works well regardless of limitations, and it's really quite lovely too!

Herbstlicher Wald, Kastanien.
Perfekt passender Song
